CES | J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference | Biden Stimulus

This week will be an eventful one packed with CES 2021, the J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference, Biden's Stimulus Package unveil, and earnings all mixed-in.

Verizon (VZ) will be the first keynote at CES, talking about their expansive 5G efforts and likely about iPhone 12. Verizon is one of the more "stable" (when looking at their March 2020 low of just 48.84) large cap value stocks that offers a whopping 4.34% dividend yield. Click here for more on Verizon's dividend.

AMD (AMD) is set for their keynote Tuesday morning to discuss their high-performance computing and graphics solutions, and likely about their team-up with Microsoft (MSFT) on the Xbox Series X. Here is the link to view the AMD keynote live on Tuesday, at 11am Eastern.

Nvidia (NVDA) is going to announce a range of four GeForce RTX GPUs and perhaps share more details about their recent partnership with NIO (NIO) and their autonomy efforts.

Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) will give updates on the release of their Covid-19 Vaccine, while Moderna (MRNA) and Pfizer (PFE - a nice 4.2% dividend) will update us on their roll-out efforts. Meanwhile CVS (CVS) and Walgreen (WBA) will discuss their vaccination efforts. Abbvie (ABBV) may share more about their exclusivity on Humira that is currently set to expire in two years, while discussing about their Allergan-BOTOX acquisition and other therapies in their pipeline.

To wrap-up the end of the week, President-elect Biden will unveil details on his Stimulus Package plans that will likely include an increase of the stimulus checks from $600 to $2,000, state fiscal-relief efforts, and many other proposals like increasing the federal minimal wage to $15.00 / hour.

All this action jam-packed into one week; it'll be interesting to see how the markets will react. Have some of that dry-powder ready for any buying opportunities that arise.
